Tates Place is an educational app that teaches basic shapes and colors which are reinforced with sound effects, music and award screens. This app also has a memory game that features all of Tates friends. Tates Place also features an interactive photo gallery that children and parents can learn explore to learn fun facts about Tates animal friends. Also featured are 4 coloring pages that allow the parents to further interact with their children by printing off the images and coloring "old school" with paper and crayons. This app uses new technology and traditional learning to engage and help children learn and interact with the characters within the app at the same time.

I just bought this app from the Apple App Store and my little girl is laughing and playing away here! She is just over two years old and loves playing on my iPad(2). The graphics look great and the app seems very entertaining. Apparently she seems to think it’s the bee’s knees and isn’t that the point?

Our one year old just loves this app!
Our one year old loves the animal match game called “Help Find Tate’s Friends”. He also likes the feature “Tate’s Photo Book” he gets a kick out of pushing, scaling and moving the animals around while one of us reads him the animal fun facts!

This app is so easy to use and the characters are so cute. If you have small kids they will love this.
